There are lots of different ways that people remember stuff. Some people use acronyms or songs, and things like associating pictures or colours with different bits of information. Studying a lot helps, and having an understanding of something rather than just remembering it also helps, but honestly though, I really don’t remember everything I’m taught! I have a lot of books and resources I can refer too, and the internet is great for that too

I keep a logbook and write down everything I do. Also, when I do calculations I try to do them on the computer, in a program called Matlab. I save all my working in computer code so that when I want to do it again, I just have to make one click and it’s done. I then have a lot of text books, although if you look at my profile, you’ll see that some of them end up propping up my computer!

      I don’t.
I make notes in a notebook and refer back to what I need.
If I use it often enough I get to remember it anyway though.
There’s lots of textbooks in our department if you need a refresher and there’s lots out there on the interweb, but you have to be cautious about how reliable your source is.
