  I haven’t got quite that far in testing it. The amount of iron that we measure using MRI is relative. We try to make the values inside the brain relative to the fluid surrounding the brain which should have very little iron. For my project, I will test the values that we get using MRI against other techniques like chemical staining of post-mortem brain tissue or spectroscopy.
