Question: Have you been in any big bike ride

The biggest bike ride I did was Paris-Brest-Paris, which used to be a pro race until the pros decided it was too hard, so they left it to the amateurs. It goes nearly 800 miles from Paris to the Atlantic and back, and about 5000 people do it each time.
