I have no idea. Life is a fine balance and requires very specific conditions, but there are lots of stars and planets so who knows?? Even if there is life, we may never find out, as the universe is so big that it takes light millions of years to travel across it, so we may never ‘see’ any aliens that do exist.
I don’t think so, it seems impossible to me that given the size of the universe that we are the only ones in it. One of the things that actually makes it very hard to find out is how far away everything is. When we look at stars we are actually seeing the stars in the past, because it takes so long for the light to reach us! So even if there were aliens out there right now, and we pointed a powerful enough telescope int he right direction, we still might not be able to see them!
I believe that there is a very small chance that there could be some other life out there in universe. The universe is absolutely enormous and scientists have found lots of planets somewhat similar to ours, millions of light years away. They may be very simple life forms though. Maybe by the time they reach us or we reach them, after millions of years of evolution, they could be more complex and have intelligence.
