        Yes, and this is one of the things I find most enjoyable in the lab. I built a new experiment that used a laser to show up very small particles. We then used the video that we recorded to measure how big (or small!) the particles are. There is a picture of this experiment on my profile page

        I am constantly doing new experiments in the lab however we normally look at work previously completed in the same area by reading research papers and apply this to our own work.

        We constantly have to change variables such as temperature and pH in our experiments to make sure we find the best conditions.
