• Question: is it good being a scientist

      It’s fantastic. I cannot think of doing anything else. I get to make things no one else has made that might be really useful to society and help people. That’s the dream and the motivation, anyway, whether I succeed or not is a different question, but there has never been a more relevant time to be a scientist and we can make a real conibution to the benefit of everyone.

      I think it’s great! I love working in the lab and how varied my working week is. Everyday is different, challenging and exciting. There is no better feeling than when an experiment works and you get the results you want. Working alongside other scientists is also fun as we all spur each other on and help each other out. I would encourage anyone to seriously consider a career in science!
