• Question: What got you interested in damaged cells?

      One, because its such a fundamental question. Our DNA gets damaged constantly, and most of the time we repair it just fine. What I find really interesting is why we sometimes don’t, and how this leads to cancer. If we could help our cells repair themselves, then we’d massively help prevent cancer. I really like working on something with such good possible medical benefits.
