In biology, I’ve been studying since I was 19, so for 7 years. In genetics, it’s been 3 1/2 years, so since I started my doctorate.

      Hi haggis120!

I’ve been doing the stuff on FH for 4 years, before that I did my PhD on a sperm protein and at the end of the year I’m moving to Australia to work on athersclerosis!

Five years – relatively short in the grand scheme of science research.

I’ve been studying for about 5 years in bioinformatics/computational biology. But this builds upon 6 years of computer science and modelling research, and 3 years of a maths degree before that. So, a while!
