Am I right in assuming you’re talking about chemical bonds?

There are 118 different elements in the periodic table. If they didn’t bond then there would only be 118 types of material in the world.

Bonds are important because they are the reason why we have the materials we have today. Understanding the bonds allows us to understand different things about a material like whether it’s going to be hard, what colour it will be, whether it will burn etc.

Bonds are really important for us to understand things around us.

Because without them we wouldn’t be here! Bonds are how molecules join together. Without bonds, there would be no water, no earth, no people, nothing. The making and breaking of chemical bonds is what keeps us alive, so it’s important to learn about how they work.
