  It is possible that Jupiter could contain diamonds, probably a huge diamond, in it’s core for the exact reasons that you’ve mentioned.
  However scientists seem to think that Jupiter has a metal core. This isn’t certain though

  I personally don’t think the core is made of diamond but I actually don’t know and I could be wrong.

  This website reckons it could have, on the basis of the super high pressures and temperatures found within Jupiter, which would be conducive to diamond formation: http://www.guide-to-the-universe.com/a-diamond-the-size-of-earth.html
  
  However, we can’t see into the core of Jupiter, so, as Jonny said, we really don’t know.
