Question: Do you enjoy being a PhD researcher?

I have quite a lot of freedom to decide what experiments I want to do and how I want to do them, which I really like. I’ve also had the opportunity to take part in lots of events with other PhD students, which us great fun – I’ve been to stuff in Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, and various other places, and I get to go to Amsterdam and Austria in the next few months! So yes, I enjoy it.
