• Question: do you believe that swedish scientists will eventually get the two particles to crash together creating the god particle which is more powerful than any other?

      I suspect scientists will be able to recreate the ‘god particle’ however I am unconvinced that this is what God is to spiritual people. I think there are powerful particles we don’t understand and perhaps seemingly simple particles that may have a greater role to play than we understand too. Faith in God on the other hand isn’t something that can be proved or disproved, it is a sense and belief in something without the need of explainable evidence.

      The term the ‘god particle’ refers to the Higgs Boson (see http://science.howstuffworks.com/life/inside-the-mind/human-brain/pain.htm), which was discovered at the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland in 2012. So yes, the Higgs Boson, or god particle, has already been found.
