      Ha, at the moment my favourite element is iridium – we use this to make hydrogen in electrolysers. It is one few elements that survives in our system and is more than 3x the cost of gold.

      Thanks! It is really interesting and challenging.
      I’d say my favourite element is probably carbon (which, in combination with hydrogen, is the backbone of so much of our natural world)!
