Question: how passionate would you say you are about the research and development of catalysts can you see yourself working in this field forever?

This is the first role I have taken since coming out of university. I definitely enjoy the research side of things and learning/discovering things others do not know. However, I could see myself working in other areas of the chemical industry also. The thing I enjoy about my current role is I work on a very small scale which is often the first step in any project before scaling up to kg or tonne scales of catalysts. It is almost like being the first piece of a puzzle! 🙂
