      Yes, if it helps students in schools understand what it’s like being a scientist and what a career in science is about. I am hoping that some of the students participating in this will think about and become scientists in future. We need more scientists because we have a planet to save. Politicians won’t save the planet, scientists and engineers will!

      I think this kind of format is great, and we get to answer questions from people all around the country that may not otherwise get to talk to scientists

      Yes, very much! It is great to talk to students, and hopefully this activity helps you better understand what scientists do, so maybe you decide to become one. We really need many more scientists to tackle all the problems we face!

      Yes. All of us scientists are volunteers so we only do it becuase we enjoy it.
      I love science and I want everyone else to love it as much as I do. So I hope that through answering your questions I am helping your become interested.
