      yes, as part of my job I get to go and talk about my science at conferences or just go and meet other scientists working in the same area.

      yes as a team we usually go to some of the UK conferences for science. i always attend the annual X-ray conference to see other scientists that share my field of work and to see and discuss new equipment that’s becoming available and new chemicals on offer for sample prep.

      as a scientist its something i have always enjoyed travelling for work and seeing new people and places

      Yes, I do, and it is one of my favourite parts of my job. For example, in Japan I am going to Tokyo to a big mathematics conference that takes place only once every four years.

      Yes. It is one way in which scientists share information with each other.
      My best conference was in Costa Rica becuase I got to visit a coffee farm. Plus the weather was really good.
      Normally they are in Europe in the rain.
