Both will be good in different contexts. In big towns and cities, where the bus doesn’t have to go very far and can recharge often, electric is likely to be the best option. For longer routes, and routes that go between small towns, hydrogen fuel cells make more sense because they can be refuelled much more quickly than a battery takes to charge. Fuel cell systems are also lighter than batteries, so there is less road damage
