• Question: What new technology do you think will likely be invented in the next decade?

      That’s a reeeeeeeeeally hard question. Because in short if we knew what it was we’d probably have already invented it.

      Aside from general advances in technology the most likely places for breakthroughts are in AI, wearable tech and maybe even body augmentations.

    Again super tough question! From a chemical perspective I think we are very close to curing some of the more difficult diseases. Recently we have cured HIV in 2 cases across the world. But they way this was done was not by HIV drugs but for a treatment for cancer.

    I think the next major step is the discovery of new classes of anti-biotics

    I think genome editing will become a huge deal in the future, and will revolutionize the medical industry. Genome editing is using tools to manipulate the DNA, either fixing a defective gene or removing it etc to make the cell function as normal.
