      My favourite element is…

      Ah!

      It’s the element of surprise!

(But a more sensible answer is Oxygen, because it lets me live to make silly jokes)

I like hydrogen it is the lightest element, hydrogen makes up 90% of the visible universe and is the raw fuel for stars. It combines to form some things you might have heard of: water (H2O), ammonia (NH3), methane (CH4), table sugar (C12H22O11), hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and hydrochloric acid (HCl). It is also fantastically simple one proton and one electron.

It has the possibility of powering our future as well in terms of a fuel cell

Helium, because it has loads of funny jokes about it!

What did the scientist say when he found 2 helium molecules?
      Hehe

Did you read that book about Helium?
      I couldn’t put it down!

      Helium walks into a bar,
The bar tender says “We don’t serve noble gasses in here.”
      Helium doesn’t react.

It’s also really really useful in super-cooling our massive MRI machine! And it makes your voice squeaky.
