I liked physics and maths. I really didn’t like subjects where you didn’t know if the answer was right (like English). In physics and maths you knew there was a proper answer and that if you got the answer right you would get all the marks!
during primary and secondary school, I liked maths and arts and dislike
all the rest.
However, during high school, I started enjoy the other subjects too, especially history and philosophy.
That said, I think I was very lucky as I had very good teachers who made me love the subjects they were teaching (no matter if it was maths, English or arts)!
I enjoyed DT, or I think it is called now resistant materials the most. Then a close second was science. I enjoyed the practical nature of them where the answer was not always obvious, and the results you got out was what you put in. For example a wooden box, or even a physics experiment if you were not precise and took care you didn’t get the best results.
Though off topic, I never liked maths and still do not. Though a good skill I cannot escape from in work and life. I cannot ever enjoy it.
Actually, mine was French! It’s nice to learn another language, and then use it when you go on holiday.
Many scientists from around the world speak many different languages, so it’s always useful to be able to communicate with scientific teams from around the world when we go to conferences.
Since primary school, I liked Maths and Science. I was fascinated by Nature, therefore I enjoyed studying subjects which provide an explanation on how it works. During high school I became very passionate about Physics ad decided to study it at university.
