Question: What WAS that multi-million pound project that you told us about in your profile? Have you finished it and what/who has it benefited?

  Hi Charlotte!
  
  The multi-million project consists in the design and building of a new kind of high-energy laser, which can be used for research covering many different topics, such as materials science, medicine, energy (you can find more details on possible applications of the laser on my profile page).
  
  My colleagues and I are still working on it and we are going to finish it in a few months’ time. Then, we are going to send the system on many big lorries to the Czech Republic, where it will be available for scientists who want to use it for their experiments.
