• Question: What is the best thing you have done in computing?

      Hi Benny,

      That is a hard question. There is no one thing that stands out as I have not done anything like invented google or facebook.
      As computing is such a wide subject, I like the variety. I think if I was doing the thing that I enjoyed the most this week, next month I would be wanting to do something else.
      The best thing I have done in computing is work at Diamond, I worked for Hitachi for 5 years before. I enjoy Diamond because of the science done here, I like being a part of that. The computing done at Diamond is a good challenge as it is often on the cutting edge of what is possible. As the rest of Diamond is cutting edge, it does drive the computing requirements to be the best there is.
      I enjoy the variety and challenge working with this cutting edge equipment, and as every day is different. In a way I am glad not one thing stands out as it is all a great experience. Well most of the time…. You do get completly rubbish days where nothing works.
