I think every lab in the country would love to have more money.

The enthusasism of the people who work there or at least all the labs I have seen is great already. The equipment though not perfect is very good or at least usable, though more money and investment would allow labs to push the boundaries of what they are doing as it would allow more, equipment, people and science to happen.

UK science is actually quite well funded, not not all places get all the money they want.

      Hi Niamh

I think most labs would benefit from free cookies. I think it’s a fundamental law of nature that all scientists love cookies.

If not cookies then money 🙂

Cookies and money are both attractive (the second is also mandatory).

We don’t have cookies in the Chemistry Dept at Imperial
but we have free doughnuts on Friday morning!! That is wonderful.

However, what I think it should never miss in a lab is a good coffee machine.
That helps the brain and the spirit, which are both essential to make
      good science.
