      Hi Ellie

I am passionate enough to want to encourage others to follow in my career choice. This is why I am doing this for example.

I think it is important to enjoy what you do, and if you enjoy what you do it is hard not to talk to others and be passionate about it.

I think my work in cancer research is pretty cool, and helps a lot of people. What’s not to be passionate about?

      Hi Ellie

I’m really REALLY passionate about my work. Well, the work of Diamond anyway. We provide a service that lets other scientists examine anything.

Using the particle accelerator to produce the light to collect light patterns from all kinds of things, and then using Dave’s networks and computers to analyse the resulting information, together with every one else at Diamond we help expand the knowledge of the human race.

We cure disease by understanding how bacteria grow, we make computers work faster by better understanding how materials work, we read ancient manuscripts that cannot be rolled open.

And perhaps most importantly of all, by understanding it’s structure, we make chocolate taste better!
      😀

And particle accelerators are cool. Really cool.

      Hi Ellie!

I am really passionate about my work. I design and build innovative high energy lasers, and this allows me to work at the forefront of laser technology. I learn and do a lot of interesting things every day! 🙂

I also enjoy talking to other scientists and get to know what they do. This is really useful because it allows me to expand my knowledge and even to start collaborations with them to carry out some research together! 🙂
