      Why the sad face?!

I think you can fall in love with someone without seeing them, if you get to know them by speaking online, on the phone or even by writing letters! I think it works by really getting to know how someone thinks, and if the other person makes you happy when they talk to you then that could be the beginning of love.

I suspect people ‘fall in love at first sight’ because the features or the way someone moves reminds them of things that they already love.

I’m probably not best qualified to answer this though!

      Well probably you are right.
Trying to explain it probably makes it realy quite unromantic.

Well love at first sight might not be too silly. Some of the main subconscious ways for assessing a possible mate. Is visual and smell, visual looking for attributes such as height to hip ratio in a female and in a male width of shoulders compared with torso. These give clues as to the other persons ability to produce healthy children. Feremone smell can aid in determing the diversness of genetics as you want some diversity to give the best attributes to future children. Again these are only a very small brief subset of attributes.

So love being blind definatly not, there are many things that go on in the first meeting.

Love at first sight….. Well I think that is good luck, all the people you do not love at first sight you pass off as just another person, it is only when you make a sucess of it you give it this title.

Saying that I met my now wife at college, we stayed together though out college and university. So she might say love at first sight, I think I was just very lucky 😉
