• Question: How do you see if the bones are broken?

      This one’s easy! With X-rays!

      X-rays are great at seeing the bones because bones are ‘dense’, they are heavy and made of calcium which shows up really well on X-rays. If a bone is broken you can easily see where it’s broken, and then tell the surgeon how to fix it.
