No me an Ed do, though in different departments. The other three scientists so not work at Diamond.
Diamond is a big place, we employ about 500 staff and have over a thousand visiting scientists a year, we are one of the largest science experiements in the UK currently.
My lab is located just a few hundred meters away from Diamond, and I was lucky enough to have the chance to visit it. It is a very interesting place with a lot of science going on in it.
Sometimes open days are organised at Diamond and schools can go and visit it.
I think this has been comprehensively answered, but if you want to come and see where David and I work (and Stef for that matter) there is an open day this summer on Saturday the 11th of July for the whole of the Rutherford Appleton Lab where Diamond and the Central Laser Facility are based.
Diamond does do quite a lot of open days for the public and for schools as well (if you can persuade your school to let you and your teacher out for the day!) These are mostly for A level students so you might have to wait if you aren’t there yet. Details at http://www.diamond.ac.uk/Public/VisitUs.html.
It would be great to see you if you can make it, although I know it’s a long way to come from some parts of the country!
