      Hi Chloe 🙂

I attended secondary school in Italy and Italian educational system is a bit different from the British one. Therefore, if you are wondering whether to take double science or not, I may not be the best person to ask.

I attended a science-oriented high school, where more emphasis was put on subjects like Maths, Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Computer Science. Besides these subjects, I studied humanities as well (like History, Philosophy, English, Italian literature, Latin…).

My suggestion for you is to choose the topics which interest you the most and are more aligned with your strengths and ambitions.

      Hi Aden, Chloe

There once was a schoolboy named Ed
Who wanted to know lots of stuff in his head
      Did he take Chemistry
      Physics or Biology? No!
      He took Double Science instead!

      😉

As long as you are still able to take all the options at A Level there is no barrier to you being a scientist if you study Double Science at GCSE.

      Hello,

Yes I did the double science award. If you choose to do double science it may help if you wanted to take it further at college. I doubt doing it or not will be a life changing decision. I think there are plenty of ways later to get into science. It may just require a little more work.
