Question: could computers overpower people oneday?

Well it depends what you mean, if you mean like terminator then maybe there is a slim chance one day. But I imagine it is not likely in the near future. There are too many links in the chain for them to be able to repair and power themselves, without needing human intervention.

Terminator is not very scary when it says press f5 to continue.
