I was born in London- but lived in Singapore, the USA, The Bahamas, and Scotland before moving to Newcastle.
I love learning about marine life, and take any chance to go to sea! While I’m most interested in animal biology, I also love astronomy, paleontology, and history.
I love to go hiking with my friends, spend a day doing a coast walk, or simply relax in a park.

Whenever a class comes to the Centre for Life to do one of our workshops, it’s my job to make sure all the different things that are needed for the activity are ready, and that any chemicals the activity uses are made.

My Typical Day:
In the morning walk from my flat and start work at 9am. I set up different class activities with the explainers, and make sure all the children have everything they need for the activities when they arrive at 10am. I have lunch with my friends, then spend the afternoon tidying up the labs and starting to prepare for the next morning’s activities before leaving for home at 5:30pm.

Each day is different, so I start each day planning what needs to be done. Some days I am preparing workshops all day, and sometimes I’m running around doing all sorts of other things. Sometimes I need to shop for new equipment, help with activities, design new parts for workshops, or talk to my coworkers about planning for future workshops
