• Question: Why do our bodies grow but our eyes do not?

      Eyes do grow! But not as much as the rest of our bodies. I’m not sure exactly, but it might be because our eyes only work at a certain size and if you make them too small, they stop working properly. If you’ve ever play around with a lens (e.g. a magnifying glass), you’ll see that the distances of your eye to the lens and the lens to the object are important. As your eye also has a lens, it could be for similar reasons. (But this is all just a guess, based on what I know about lenses!)
