The sheer size of them. Gargantuan, bigger than buildings and created purely by the miracle of nature. Also, there is a case study where humans started conservation efforts to protect the trees and as one of their efforts, worked to prevent forest fires in the forests there. however, it was later discovered that the seeds need the heat of the fire(s) so that they can germinate! I think this is an example of where intervention in nature can have unexpected results and understanding is there for crucial prior to any intervention to avoid indirectly causing harm!
