Biomedical Engineering is a field where engineers create hardware, technology and devices that are used by doctors in hospitals on patients, for healthcare purposes. All the machines you see in a hospital are actually created by biomedical engineers to monitor different biological processes in the body, for example – X-Ray machines. Sometimes this field can also be referred to as Medical Physics.
