Hi Logan, thanks for your question!
I love fossil hunting, and have seen some fab fossils on fieldtrips with my company. The best fossil I have ever found was in Dorset, where it is illegal to dig for fossils, but where you can come across some awesome ones right on the beach. I’ve attached a picture of it here- it was a huge ammonite (my foot is there for scale), which are a type of sea creature that looked a bit like a giant snail crossed with an octopus! (see my post-it cartoon!) This one in Dorset was from the Jurassic period of Earth’s history, over 140 million years old!
