• Question: would it ever be possible to build a space ship strong enough to survive going to the sun and back? or would anything just melt from miles away?

      It might be. It’s pretty hot at the sun, but there’s also strong magnetic fields. I don’t know that any material that we know about at the moment is tough enough to allow us to survive inside.

      What a cool idea. I think it could be done, although like Tim I don’t know what you could make it out of.
