• Question: Would a lazer go through a mirror or just reflect off it?

      It depends on the laser and the mirror, as some metal cutting type lasers are well absorbed by both metal and glass so would go straight through it. Most lasers bounce off mirrors though.

      Yeah. Depends on the material that the mirror is made of.
      I’ve used mirrors that are supposed to be reflective for the type of laser that I was using, but the laser was too powerful and burnt off the surface coating so that it didn’t reflect anymore.
