• Question: Will we ever know the truth about how the world started?

      All of science is about creating a theory and looking for evidence to prove or disprove the theory, so we will never really know the “truth” about anything, but I think we stand a good shot at getting strong evidence for an appropriate theory about it, yes.

      I think that people have some good ideas now, but there will always be more to find out about those early earth days. So yes, people will have a pretty good idea of the ‘truth’.

      We’ll never know the truth. We will probably get to a point where we have a theory that passes all the tests and looks believable, but because no one was around at the beginning, we’ll never know for sure.
