  I think so.
  There are Iris scanners at immigration desks at some airports right now, but they don’t use lasers – just cameras. In my experience, they don’t work brilliantly but there’s never a queue to use them so you can get home more quickly.

  Most definitely. I once used a laser scanner which measured the shape of somebody. It came out with a 3D contour model of the person on a computer. This sort of thing could be used I guess?
