It’s a Dye laser (Rhodamine 6G is the commercial name for the dye, but the exact mix is a trade secret which I am not privy to)
I suppose you could also use a tunable Argon laser, which would be more stable – but there is nothing with a CE mark that we can buy to use on patients.
