• Question: Whats the furthest you have ever fired a laser?

      The furthest I’ve fired a laser at work is probably 10m or so. I’ve got a laser pointer though, and have used that to try and point out stars at night (you can see the beam scattered by dust in the atmosphere). That laser will go on ‘forever’, or at least the parts of the beam that aren’t scattered by the atmosphere will.

      It would have to be a laser pointer, at things out of the window. I would say I could see the spot as far as 400 m.
