• Question: What is the point of life? People say that every living thing helps other things so how do we help because don't we just kill everything?

No living thing exists just because it is food for something else, it’s just that we’ve managed to make it to the top of the food chain because we’ve got the biggest brains of any animal and have managed to out-smart our predators.

Without us, rats wouldn’t survive in such numbers, nor would pigeons or gulls, or any of the animals we have bred (dogs, horses etc). Each of us is also host to billions of microscopic organisms living on every part of our body – so we do help lots of things.
