• Question: what is a high fibre laser?

      This is more Tianfu’s field. It might be similar to a low fibre laser, only higher.

      It’s a powerful (bright) laser, but I think that Tianfu is the expert here…

      That refers to fibre laser with high output power I guess. Is that what you mean? Since the laser with high output power need even higher pump power, which normally comes from the semiconductor laser diode. And also the whole setup includes optics and cooling system. Usually a high power fibre laser is a complex system and need a big space as well. Hope I answered your question.
