• Question: What advancements would you like to see in laser technology?

      I would love to see our lasers become more reliable. At the moment, the output power can vary quite a lot which makes it hard for us to choose the right energy for a patient.

      I’d like to see them become more efficient. Right now a lot of the energy that you put into a laser is wasted as heat, which means you have to cool the whole thing down. Making them more efficient would mean that we didn’t need to make complicated cooling mechanisms in them.
