• Question: If a cure for cancer is found then could it do worse than good?

      In short, yes, there is potential for the planet to have too many people and for resources to run out even faster. However, I think the human race will find ways around that and on an individual level, everyone wants their loved-one to survive so it’s not an argument that is going to stop people trying to cure cancer.

      It depends if you are a human thinking about saving your own family, or if you are a polar bear worrying about your cubs.

      I think it would be good for people on the whole, although of course cancer is not the only disease (class of diseases) we need to think about.
