• Question: how do you avoid pain when you are having a jab (injection) ?

      You can be lucky, if you get a good nurse or if they happen to miss any nerves. Before injections here, one of our Plastic Surgeons pinches the skin at the same time and asks the person to cough. They don’t even realise the needle has gone in.

      Pain is closely related to fear as well, so you can do a lot with state of mind (pain isn’t always a bad thing e.g. some massages)

      Just think about how it’s good for you in the long run! And could save you a lot more pain in the future, or even save your life!

      I don’t know the answer to this question, but I never thought that a jab was very painful – it’s over so quickly that it’s OK.
