      Radiation poisoning is when you get radioactive materials into your body and they cause damage to certain parts (I think that the Thyroid gland, which controls lots of core body functions is one). The type of radiation that most lasers give off is not ionising, and therefore not able to cause radiation poisoning.
      There is a type of laser called a Free Electron Laser that can make X-rays, which could cause long-term damage to the cells in your body.

      We once measured how much other radiation was coming out of our laser (other than the light). It was about the same as an Iphone (which, by the way, isn’t that much)
