• Question: could you put a pin through a bubble in midair without it popping?

      Yes. This is probably easier with a wet pin.

      Yep, with a wet pin. If you put a couple of patches of sticky tape on a balloon, you can push a knitting needle through them (and the balloon) too – the tape stops the boll on from bursting.
