• Question: can salt make a slug explode?

      Some salts can be very explosive when coming into contact with water. Normal table salt just makes them shrivel up though.

      The salt seems to make the slug uncomfortable, so it tries to wash it off by excreting slime. Then it gets dehydrated and dies. It’s a really inhumane way to kill them, even if they do eat my tomatoes!
