• Question: Can animals commit suicide if they are depressed ect.?

      Relatively intelligent birds like parrots will self-harm if unhappy – and suicide is just one step further. I think it probably does happen.

      Yeah, Parrots pull out their feathers when they’re unhappy and other animals stop taking care of themselves (cats stop cleaning themselves). I imagine that some animals might not try to save themselves if they got into trouble, but I don’t know of any examples off the top of my head.
