      Yes. Any hospital you go into will have a cutting laser used in surgery. They are better than scalpels for many procedures because they don’t go blunt and they coagulate the blood vessels, reducing the amount of bleeding.

      Lasers are also used to break up kidney stones and we have a laser that is used by a plastic surgeon to reduce the appearance of some scars or other bumpy bits on the skin.
